Denisse is a museum educator, community programmer, and multilingual education specialist with experience working regionally, nationally, and internationally. She has collaborated with institutions such as the Tucson Museum of Art, the University of Arizona Museum of Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and the British Library in London. In addition to her museum work, she has supported students and families in the Tucson Unified School District while freelancing as a translator and editor for various cultural organizations. Denisse holds a BFA in Art and Visual Culture Education with a minor in Spanish from the University of Arizona and an MA in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester. At CCP, Denisse leads initiatives that foster meaningful community connections through dynamic learning programs. She develops in-person, online, and hybrid curricula, curates diverse speaker and creative engagements, and expands access to CCP’s resources through multilingual education, digital engagement, and participatory design.
